About

The Energy Sustainability Launch brings together faculty, students and industry professionals to showcase opportunities in the field, while highlighting our 1-year Master of Energy Sustainability (MES) program planned for Autumn 2026. The MES has been approved by all Ohio State units and the Board of Trustees, and we are waiting for the final approval from the state.

Throughout the week, we will:

  • Introduce participants to energy sustainability initiatives and academic offerings
  • Provide insight into the upcoming Master of Energy Sustainability program
  • Connect attendees with faculty, students, and industry experts
  • Explore career pathways and real-world applications

The Launch is open to any undergraduate student (or recent graduate!) of any academic major. As long as you’re able to hop on Zoom from noon–1 p.m. during the week of May 11 – 15, you’re welcome to attend!

Questions regarding the Launch or the anticipated Master of Energy Sustainability can be directed to Katie Zimmerman at Zimmerman.865@osu.edu.
