Ritika Chakraborty, a Master of Health Administration and Master of Business Administration student, took home a $50,000 prize at the President’s Buckeye Accelerator Finale, an Ohio State competition that helps student entrepreneurs prepare a startup for launch.

Chakraborty and Bria Isaacson, a student at the Fisher College of Business, presented their plan to develop Colectic, a curated marketplace that manages online sales and operations for vintage resellers.

Chakraborty said the duo is grateful for the support they’ve received and look forward to building their business.

“Being recognized in this way means the world to us,” she said. “We're excited to grow even further helping small businesses and sellers thrive and making sustainable shopping more accessible in the year ahead."

Twelve teams competed at the April event and six were awarded $50,000. They will join a year-long accelerator cohort focused on mentoring, skill building and preparing for launching a business.
