Biography
Dr. Tabung is an associate professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and a member of the Molecular Carcinogenesis and Chemoprevention Program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. His research is focused on understanding how diet influences cancer biology and uncovering the underlying mechanisms that can be leveraged to improve outcomes across the cancer continuum.
He leads the Diet, Metabolism, and Cancer Prevention Outcomes Lab, which focuses on how diet-related metabolic imbalances, particularly those linked to obesity and type 2 diabetes, influence cancer risk and progression.
