Ravindra is an accomplished scholar specializing in chemical sciences. He earned his PhD in chemical sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research in Ghaziabad, India, focusing on screening environmental contaminants in water and food, with a particular emphasis on metabolic perturbation and toxicology.
Ravindra has a strong research background, previously serving as a senior research fellow at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research in Lucknow, India. His research involves the identification and quantification of toxicants in various environmental and biological matrices, coupled with the study of metabolic perturbation in zebrafish embryos. During his doctoral training, he received specialized instruction in sophisticated analytical techniques, particularly in mass spectrometry. Analytical chemistry and regulatory toxicology are the primary areas of his research, and his contributions to several research papers during his PhD demonstrate the depth of his expertise.
Ravindra has honed his skills in targeted and untargeted analysis, gaining proficiency in high-throughput data analysis, including metabolomics. His extensive experience encompasses a range of techniques such as LC-MS/MS, LC-HRMS, GC-MS/MS, LC-ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, AAS and DMA. Beyond toxicant and residue analysis, he explores biological metabolites, including amino acids, organic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and neurotransmitters. Ravindra has adeptly operated and maintained various MS instruments and data analysis software, enabling efficient analysis of complex biological samples.
Ravindra shares his knowledge and expertise as an educator by serving as an assistant professor at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, India, and previously as a guest faculty at NITTE University in Mangalore. His impactful publications in renowned journals and active participation in conferences, workshops and training programs underscore his commitment to academia.
With an interdisciplinary background in analytical chemistry, regulatory toxicology, environmental science, and public health, Ravindra is well-positioned to advance research in these fields. His experience in the GLP/NABL research lab, coupled with his enthusiasm for continuous learning and embracing challenges, reflects a steadfast commitment to personal and professional growth.
