Epidemiology research seminar
Each month, two faculty members will each give a 10–15 minute presentation, followed by Q&A and informal mingling. These talks are designed especially for graduate students as an accessible primer on the research process.
About
The goal of this series is to make epidemiology research feel approachable while creating space for discussion and connection between students, faculty and staff.
Faculty will share:
- How they came up with the idea or motivation for their project (or a specific paper)
- The steps they took to move the research forward
- Challenges they encountered along the way
- The datasets and analytic methods they used
- Key findings and results
This month's talks will include:
- Development and Evaluation of a Theory-Informed, Culturally Specific Educational Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine Comic Book for College Students in Northeast Ohio, presented by Clinical Assistant Professor Obianuju "Genevieve" Aguolu.
- Malodors as Environmental Justice, presented by Assistant Professor Arbor Quist.
