Murphy was recognized for her work with professors to creatively design their courses in order to help students succeed.

"There is a great deal of work that goes into creating and delivering an online course. As a faculty member, I rely on Margaret and her assistants to do the needed programming in Carmen that makes it possible for the course to run,” said Sarah Anderson, PhD, associate professor of epidemiology. “Margaret brings her creative talents and enthusiasm to directly engage and support the learning of our students. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this year’s CPH Employee of the Year Award.”

Murphy joins 16 past recipients chosen for this honor as a result of her continued dedication to supporting the faculty, staff and students; dedication to detail; positive attitude; and enthusiasm.
