Macarius Donneyong joins AI Fluency Faculty Advisory Council

Members will advise on updates to Ohio State curriculum

Associate Professor Macarius Donneyong, who has a joint appointment at the College of Pharmacy, has been named to Ohio State’s AI Fluency Faculty Advisory Council, which will help guide the ongoing implementation of the university’s AI Fluency initiative.

The 13 council members from across disciplines will advise on how best to embed AI across curricula, support pedagogical innovation and help ensure students gain not only functional AI skills but a deep understanding of the ethical, societal and disciplinary implications of AI use, according to the Office of Academic Affairs.

Members will meet regularly and collaborate closely with the Office of Academic Affairs, the Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning and partners across the university.
