MHA students take top prize at Sloan Program in Health Administration Case Competition

A team of three Master of Health Administration students won first place at theSloan Program in Health Administration Case Competition held in San Francisco this month.

Students ChristelleBonzil, Annabelle Dolney and Grant Mumper took the top prize among 40 teams. The top eight were invited to present their cases in person. Clinical ProfessorJulie Robbins served as the team’s faculty coach.

Teams were challenged to developstrategic recommendations for University of California Irvine Health’s integration of four newly acquiredcommunity networkhospitals. In the final round, they built on that work to develop focused strategies for one of the newly acquired hospitals.

The case competition was put on by theHealthcare Students Association (HSA) at Cornell University.
