Program coordinator position with 'Walk with a Doc'
Walk with a Doc inspires communities through movement and conversation with free walking programs led by volunteer physicians and healthcare providers
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Walk with a Doc chapters and leaders throughout the full program lifecycle, from initial interest and onboarding through ongoing chapter operations and annual renewal.
This position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective and current Walk Leaders, helping them navigate the process of starting and maintaining successful Walk with a Doc programs. The Program Coordinator will provide responsive day-to-day support, coordinate chapter onboarding and renewals, maintain accurate program information and records, assist walkers with program-related questions, and support program data collection and administration.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and enjoys helping people. Because much of the program is administered through interconnected digital systems, this role requires someone who can confidently learn new platforms, troubleshoot routine issues, maintain accurate data and identify opportunities to improve technology-enabled processes.
