The Washington Academic Internship Program (WAIP) offers Ohio State undergraduate students of all majors the opportunity to spend a semester living, learning, and interning in Washington, D.C. As a John Glenn Fellow, students gain hands-on professional experience, earn academic credit, build a strong network of mentors and alumni, and develop valuable skills for careers in public service, government, nonprofit organization, and beyond. With personalized internship support, policy-focused coursework and unique professional development opportunities, WAIP provides a pathway to launch your career while experiencing the nation’s capital firsthand.

Please join us for an in-person information session on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in 340 Page Hall, or virtually on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Applications for Spring 2027 are due Sept. 20. We hope to see you in Washington!
