Twenty-four CPH students traveled to Washington, D.C., over spring break to explore public health policy issues.

It is with deep sorrow that we share news of the passing of Melvin Moeschberger, who died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at age 78.

MaryDiOrio, MD, MPH, is the medicaldirectorofqualityandpopulationhealthat theOhioHealth Physician Group. She graduated in 1994 with Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State’s College of Medicine and in 2000 with a Master of Public Health from Ohio State’s School of Public Health.

CPH students delivered donations for the second annual winter clothing drive, benefiting families in southern Ohio affected by the opioid epidemic.

Undergraduate students approaching graduation gained invaluable experience in areas such as human trafficking, pharmaceuticals and more, and presented their work at a poster session on Dec. 6.

Public health leaders, practitioners, organizations and educators were among the seven honorees at the college's annual awards ceremony on Tuesday.
