On April 8, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and 2022 Yale Poynter Fellow Ed Yong will come to Yale University to moderate a discussion featuring Dean Amy Fairchild, Dr. Michelle Williams, Dean of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Dr. Sten Vermund, Dean of the Yale School of Public Health. 

The Ohio State First-Year Health Case Competition is an annual event that has been held since 2011. We are proud to share that it is the first health administration case competition in the country that is organized, coordinated and executed solely by students.

This year's guest speaker is College of Public Health alumna and public health leader Janet Porter, PhD. Janet is a two-time Ohio State graduate and has served on the Wexner Medical Center Board, the Ohio State Board of Trustees and the Ohio State Alumni Association Board. Her career included leadership roles at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the University of North Carolina's Gillings School of Global Public Health.
