College named best in Ohio, among the top in U.S.

Biostatistics, epidemiology, and health policy and management specialties receive special recognition

The College of Public Health and its programs are among the top in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s latest edition of America’s Best Graduate Schools.

At 29th overall and 16th among public institutions, the college is ranked the highest among colleges and programs of public health in Ohio. U.S. News also ranks several specialties within public health and, for the first time, three College of Public Health programs are recognized. The biostatistics specialty is ranked 22nd, the epidemiology specialty is ranked 25th and the health policy and management specialty is ranked 17th.

The college’s Master of Health Administration program, which was not included in those programs evaluated this year, retains its spot in the top 10, ranking eighth.
