Biography

Debra Zevallos, clinical associate professor, is an experienced and accomplished leader in both health administration and higher education. She will serve as director of the college's Executive Master of Health Administration program, which is expected to launch in 2026. 

Zevallos is board-certified in health care management and a credentialed fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. With over 20 years of operational experience as a practitioner in the field, her areas of expertise included military medicine, hospital and ambulatory operations, service line management, strategic planning, quality improvement and performance excellence, health policy and legislative affairs.

Zevallos' professional experience in higher education includes over 10 years of teaching experience and serving in leadership roles as the associate dean of health sciences and program director for the healthcare administration undergraduate program at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, and most recently, as associate professor and director of the executive MHA program at the University of Cincinnati.

Zevallos was the recipient of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration 2025 Teaching Excellence Award in Healthcare Management and Leadership.
