Hood has been a society member since 2000
Darryl B. Hood, professor of environmental health sciences, was elected Society of Toxicology councilor by the group’s voting members. The Society of Toxicology is a professional and scholarly organization of scientists from academic institutions, government and industry who aim to create a safer and healthier world.
Hood previously served as chair of the Society of Toxicology Education and Career Development Committee and president of the society’s Toxicologists of African Origin Special Interest Group.
