Duane Reynolds, MHA '04

Partner and president, Chartis Just Health Collective

This year’s Top Diversity Leaders in Healthcare use a variety of strategies to widen access to care and build communities of wellness. Inequality in healthcare is a problem requiring creative solutions. Modern Healthcare’s Top Diversity Leaders program recognizes those forging the way.

Reynolds focuses on advancing and operationalizing equity across the healthcare ecosystem, working with organizations, communities and policymakers to address bias and improve disparities in access. Within Chartis Just Health Collective, Reynolds helps lead the firm’s anti-racism steering community and co-founded its Equity Advisory Board. Reynolds brings his expertise to media appearances—speaking on dozens of podcasts and at national conferences and symposia—as well as to his mentorship of students at Ohio State University. Before founding the Just Health Collective, Reynolds served as president and CEO of the American Hospital Association’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity.
