2025 U.S. News report highlights top-tier graduate offerings

The Ohio State University College of Public Health is in the top 12% in the nation at 22nd, and its highly regarded Master of Health Administration program has climbed to No. 5, according to the new 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools edition released today, April 8.
The College of Public Health’s new ranking positions it as 13th among public institutions and is an improvement over last year, when the college was ranked 29th overall and 16th among public institutions.
In its highest showing to date, the MHA program sits at fifth among 96 health care management programs in the country. The program, known nationally for its strong alumni network, student leadership opportunities and job placement, was previously ranked eighth in 2023 and has been in the top 10 for the past decade.
The college’s health policy and management specialty is also considered among the best in the nation, ranked 21st this year. The college and its specialty and health care management programs are ranked by leaders at peer institutions.
College of Public Health highlights for the last year include:
- The hiring of incoming Dean Paula Song, who will join Ohio State in July.
- Multiple top honors at national MHA case competitions.
- A trio of university-wide awards recognizing faculty and staff excellence.
