Field Experience in Global Public Health: Costa Rica

This course provides a basic introduction to global public health and provides a field experience to compare the social, medical and community health offerings in Costa Rica in contrast to the United States.

Prequisite(s): Prereq: GE foundation writing and info literacy course; and GPA 2.5 or above; and junior or senior standing.

Geospatial Artificial Intelligence in Public Health

This course introduces students to the intersection of geospatial analysis, artificial intelligence and public health. 

Prequisite(s): Prereq: Geog 5210; or permission of instructor. CSE 1224 is recommended for undergraduate students, and CSE 6520 is recommended for graduate students.
