Darryl Hood awarded by Office of Diversity and Inclusion
Environmental health sciences professor recognized for unwavering commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Darryl B. Hood, professor of environmental health sciences, received the 2022 Ruth C. Bailey Endowed Fund award from the Ohio State Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI). The recognition is based on Hood's enduring collegiality and unwavering devotion to ODI and the university's diversity, equity and inclusion goals and practices.
Established February 2012 with a gift from Mr. Vincenzo Ferranti, the Ruth C. Bailey Endowed Fund is intended to recognize a faculty or staff member who has demonstrated a significant contribution toward multicultural interaction and understanding. The recognition includes an award of $3,650.
Hood will be formally honored at ODI’s 2022 virtual Scholarship Reception this semester.
