
Biomedical Informatics - Master of Science
Ohio State’s Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics will combine your interests in technology and medicine with an education that prepares you for a career as a researcher who makes a difference in health care and how it’s delivered to patients.
As a student, you will learn from College of Medicine and College of Public Health faculty and partner with them on innovative research topics such as big data, artificial intelligence and biostatistics, and their impacts on clinical and population health. You will build a strong foundation in research methods, informatics tools and apply these in a hands-on research experience.

- Minimum credit hours: 48
- Prerequisites: Strong background in computer/information science, or life sciences; 3.0 GPA or greater; excellent recommendations; strong personal statement
- GRE test scores optional
- Program start: Autumn semester
