Jennifer Beard

Jennifer most recently served as Director of The Women’s Place at Ohio State, where she championed women’s growth, leadership and power. Jennifer played an integral role in strategic planning and policy analysis, seeking to transform the culture and remove institutional barriers for women. Jennifer's career has deep roots in public health – she worked for Columbus Public Health (then the Columbus Health Department) for nearly a decade, working on sexual health programming including AIDS prevention. At the College of Public Health, Jennifer collaborates with partners within the college and beyond to develop and implement strategic initiatives. She works closely with community partners to build political, community, and public-health relationships in Ohio, the nation, and all over the world.
