This is a 12-month postgraduate experience in Washington, D.C. This unique opportunity offers systematic exposure to organizations, associations, and coalitions in the private sector and policy development centers in Congress and the Administration. It aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders in health policy by providing a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.
Eligibility for the Fellowship is open to students graduating in the 2024-2025 academic year with a minimum of a master's degree in any discipline, field, or profession. We welcome applications from graduate students in any program, school, or department of any accredited college or university.
The Fellowship provides numerous benefits to the selected candidates, including:
- Annual Salary: Fellows will receive a competitive annual salary of $65,000.
- Medical and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for medical and vision expenses.
- Moving Expenses: A one-time reimbursement of $2,500 to assist with relocation to Washington, D.C.
- Conference Fees and Travel Expenses: Up to $5,000 to support attendance at relevant conferences and cover associated travel costs.
Monthly Metro Stipend: A monthly stipend of $200/month during the appointment phase (June-August) and $100/month during the placement phase.
