Two outreach worker positions within the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program are available.
These positions provide a chance to earn income and allow students to enhance their resumes and network with Public Health professionals. The hours and schedule are flexible between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

- Pay Range: $20.60 to $22.89 per hour
- Job Type: Temporary, not to exceed 480 hours per year.

- Job Responsibilities: The role involves outreach and education for the Tobacco Prevention & Control program, including compliance checks and support for community compliance activities. Responsibilities may include visiting regulated businesses, educating retailers, and participating in administrative hearings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position applicants must be under 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in descriptive writing and basic mathematical skills.
- Prior work experience in customer service, youth outreach, tobacco cessation, or public health preferred, but not necessary.
