New wellness benefits

With the new year underway, eligible faculty and staff have access to new and enhanced benefits as part of Ohio State’s commitment to employee wellness.

Lifestyle Spending Account
   
To support health and well-being, Ohio State offers eligible employees the option of using a Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) to reimburse personal expenses related to health, fitness, family, emotional and social wellness. This benefit reimburses you up to $125 quarterly (a total of $500 per year) for eligible well-being purchases.

Family Care Support
   
Ohio State’s partnership with Bright Horizons® offers new family care support benefits to help eligible employees manage work, life and family responsibilities. These benefits include customized planning support, back-up child and elder care, tutoring and other programs. The cost is partially subsidized by Ohio State. Employee out-of-pocket costs can be reimbursed through the new LSA up to benefit limits.
