This virtual event from the HSMP Alumni Society will feature a panel of medical and public health experts from around the country to discuss the lingering health equity effects of the Flexner Report.
The Flexner Report was published in 1910 to standardize medical education, and, as a part of this process, many minority-serving medical schools were shut down, among other changes to medical education in the United States that still impact colleges of medicine today.
