Community partners: Columbus City Attorney’s Domestic Violence Prosecution Unit and Franklin County Municipal Probation
Applied Practice Experience
  • Opportunity to assist with project implementation at the Franklin County Court House
    • Recruit, screen, obtain informed consent and interview participants/conduct focus groups
  • Maintain research documents
  • Possible opportunity to assist with qualitative data analysis
    • Review focus group transcriptions in ATLAS.ti (qualitative analysis software)
    • Code text according to specific research questions using structural codes
    • Create in-depth codes to capture all aspects of community health center staff, allied health professionals and administrators’ perspectives
    • Assist with verifying qualitative data findings
  • Possible opportunity to contribute to manuscript writing
  • Human subjects training and research analysis training will be provided
  • Research assistant may possibly split time between being remote and being at the Franklin County Court House
