Job description

Seeking a Data Analysis Intern for the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention to run analysis on foodborne pathogen medical diagnosis data sets and foodborne pathogens and community health data sets. Intern will also be tasked with categorizing GPS points on a map of Ethiopia for risk factors analysis. Intern may also be responsible for conducting a systematic literature review of statistical approaches for analyzing health inspection data and reviewing Certified Food Protection Manager requirements by state. This is an unpaid position, but we are very flexible with scheduling.

Qualifications
Experience with R or SAS coding (or willingness to do self-directed learning) is required. Student must also have good organization and planning skills along with the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives to meet deadlines. Hours are flexible. Position is available immediately with an option to continue through summer 2023. Work will be mainly remote with occasional in-person meetings.
