Purpose/Mission of Organization
Dr. Tasleem Padamsee’s WOW Project team in the OSU College of Public Health is engaged with a larger research project funded by PCORI (The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute) to examine the impacts of state-level opioid policy in Ohio and Washington States. The WOW Project team has conducted qualitative interviews with providers and patients in both states in order to understand how opioid prescribing guidance has negatively and positively impacted injured worker’s compensation patients in the two states.

Job description

We are seeking 2-3 MPH students to assist in conducting qualitative data analysis for the WOW Project.

The position will be mostly in-person. Students will utilize a qualitative data analysis software (NVivo) that is located in the CPH Computer Laboratory (2nd floor, Cunz Hall).

We prefer applications to be submitted by April 21st. Interviews will begin immediately.

Qualifications
Have an interest in opioid policy research and qualitative data analysis.
