Job description

The Community Health Specialist - Project DAWN intern contributes to opiate harm reduction efforts
through community education, assisting with naloxone distribution in a variety of settings and developing campaigns to promote harm reduction. This position will work with and support the Project DAWN Coordinator in their work with local communities and stakeholders to increase naloxone distribution and harm reduction education.

Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in public health, health, public
administration, health care, substance abuse, mental health, or related fields. Must possess a valid driver's license; some evening and weekend hours required. Must be comfortable reaching out to community partners via email or telephone. Must be able to work in person. Must be able to work independently.
