Job description

The research assistant position will work with the Ohio Division of Wildlife Licensing Coordinator to compile existing peer reviewed literature on the positive effect that spending time in the outdoors has on mental health, focusing primarily on fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing activities.
Expected deliverables: A paper summarizing the findings (possible inclusion as a published journal article). An executive summary document with key findings. A presentation for Division of Wildlife executive staff of the findings. Suggest potential infographics to be created and shared via social media campaigns.
Depending on qualifications and interest, the employee can gain additional experience working in the business section of the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

Qualifications
Student seeking a B.S or MPH degree in public health or natural resources.
Experience in researching and writing technical papers.
Interest in nature and outdoor recreation benefits.
