Job description

The research assistant can expect to work on expanding the division’s necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI) database. Specific work will include learning how the medical chart is set up, which data are present within the chart and available for database retrieval, assist with statistical analysis of medical data, synthesizing conclusions from the analysis, and learning how to form research questions for a subsequent study.

Qualifications
• Statistical analysis experience
• Experience working with datasets
• Ability to comply with HIPAA
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
