Alumnus Lee Hilling receives honorary degree

Aga Khan University honors Hilling’s exemplary record of service.

Lee Hilling MHA ’74 received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Aga Khan University, based in Pakistan, in recognition for his significant contributions shaping clinical care and education for more than 30 years at the university and Aga Khan Development Network. 

The university president highlighted Hilling’s exemplary service as CEO of the Aga Khan University Hospital and his leadership as chairman of the Board of the French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children in a letter of congratulations.

Hilling graduated from Ohio State in 1974 with a Master of Health Administration and has worked extensively abroad since 1991.
