Anne Driscoll to teach in Thailand through Fulbright U.S. Student Program

Class of 2025 alum aims to foster cross-cultural understanding

Recent College of Public Health graduate Anne Driscoll ‘24 BSPH ‘25 MPH received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award and will work as an English teaching assistant in Thailand for the 2025-26 academic year.  

Driscoll views this opportunity as a chance to grow as a cultural ambassador, she said. 

“I’m looking forward to learning with humility and intention, building relationships rooted in patience, understanding and mutual respect,” she said. “Public health demands that we listen to and recognize the full humanity of every community we serve.” 

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the federal government’s flagship international educational exchange program, designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and countries around the world.
