The Best of Student Startups (BOSS) program supports creators and change makers with three interactive workshops.
Ohio State is rich with driven creators and change makers, with an ever-expanding interest in entrepreneurship. The BOSS program supports this community with three interactive workshops that culminate in a business pitch competition. The program focuses on supporting the transformation of ideas into sustainable businesses, particularly emphasizing the customer discovery phase.
The winning student-led venture will receive $20,000 in non-dilutive funding through the Joan & Chester Luby Microgrant Prize Program for BOSS. The winner will also receive an invitation to pitch at the President’s Buckeye Accelerator Finale. The program will also distribute awards of $10,000 and $5,000.
Interested students are encouraged to attend an information session at the Student Entrepreneurs’ Center (1636 N. High Street) on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
All Ohio State students are welcome to participate, regardless of prior business or entrepreneurial experience.
