After a $6.5 million dollar gift from the Stamps Family Foundation, the Ohio State Board of Trustees voted in May to rename the Eminence Fellows program to the Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program. This major gift will enable the expansion of the honors program and we need your help in selecting the Class of 2028.
Please consider this invitation to participate in the process of reviewing applications from high-achieving high school seniors from around the country.
The deadline for student applications is November 15. Our plan is to begin the review process in late November and make finalist decisions in early January. Our goal is to assign all of the applications to reviewers by November 27th. Scoring rubrics will be provided, and scores will need to be entered online by on Wednesday, December 20, at midnight. The number of applications each reviewer is assigned depends on the pool of applicants along with the number of reviewers.
In addition to the applicant’s Common Application, students are asked to submit a separate application including an essay and video. You will be asked to evaluate applicants on the following components:
1. Their focused Stamps Eminence essay of 500 words or less
2. Their 2-minute video introduction
3. Service and community involvement
4. Honors, awards and recognitions
