CCC Student Research Assistant Opportunity

The student research assistant will work on projects related to smoking cessation and/or tobacco control under the supervision of faculty member Dr. Ce Shang. Apply by Aug. 16.

 The student will provide research lab support in the Center for Tobacco Research, Department of Internal Medicine. Under direct supervision, assists with research study participant recruitment, data collection, compiling and analyzing research data; maintain research documents; track participants in an intervention study over time; assist with maintaining research supply inventory; perform other duties in support of research; may assist with generating reports and writing manuscripts; participates in mentored research. On-the-job research training will be provided.
   
Experience, Training, Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled at OSU as an undergraduate or graduate student in a degree-granting program; experience operating personal computer and other office software and equipment required; strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively work independently and also in a team environment; available to work September 2024- June 2025. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
   
The position is mostly remote.
