Olivia Farinas placed second in public health category
Five College of Public Health students presented posters at the 29th annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, a showcase that brings together Ohio State’s graduating student researchers across disciplines.
Olivia Farinas, a BSPH student specializing in environmental public health, was awarded second place in the forum’s public health category for her work characterizing the indoor microbiome in an unoccupied house used for research.
More than 200 students presented their research on March 5 at Pomerene Hall. Presentations were reviewed by faculty, staff and Denman alumni reviewers.
