Joshua Ghosh-Groen, a CPH undergraduate student ambassador, was recently invited to increase awareness on the human trafficking crisis during a community booth event at Easton Town Center in Columbus.
"Over the past few years, I've educated myself on the human trafficking crisis while simultaneously learning about how to reach impacted communities," he said. "It was a fulfilling experience that was the culmination of my journey so far, and I truly enjoyed speaking with so many community members on this important issue."
During the event, Ghosh-Groen gave away complimentary keychains that contain the National Human Trafficking Hotline's phone number, and we ultimately ran out because there was such a dedicated interest! It was a fulfilling experience that was the culmination of my journey so far, and I truly enjoyed speaking with so many community members on this important issue.
His passion for addressing this issue pushed him to pursue starting a non-profit organization, which has been granted 501(c)(3) status. Congratulations!
