Doctoral student wins AUPHA essay competition

PJ Noghrehchi’s paper assesses how MHA students perceive interdisciplinary collaboration

PJ Noghrehchi, a rising fourth-year doctoral student in health services management and policy, won the 2024 Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) Doctoral Student Essay Competition.

Noghrehchi was recognized for his paper “Exploring How Master of Health Administration Students Conceptualize Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Its Related Sub-Components.” 

“Knowing the abundance of incredible up-and-coming health services researchers across many doctoral programs, I feel deeply humbled and grateful to be recognized with this award,” Noghrehchi said. “I believe it is a direct reflection of the time and effort my professors have invested in developing my peers and me into thoughtful researchers and for always encouraging us to investigate questions that pique our curiosity.”

Noghrehchi will present his paper AUPHA’s annual meeting in Tampa.
