GTA positions available for autumn 2025

The Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning is currently seeking to hire several graduate instructional consultants (GTAs) to begin work with the institute in autumn 2025.

Consultants provide individual instructional consultations to graduate student instructors on campus, develop and facilitate workshops and learning communities on pedagogical topics for a graduate student audience, and assist staff at the institute in other research tasks, including the development of teaching and learning resources.

50% FTE (20 hours/week) and 25% FTE (10 hours/week) positions are available. The 50% positions are considered full time employment for a graduate student and include a tuition waiver. The 25% positions may be most useful for graduate students who would like to supplement an existing GRA, GTA, or GAA position with additional funding. Employment as a Graduate Instructional Consultant may be of interest to graduate students who intend to seek teaching-focused academic positions as well as those exploring alternatives to traditional academic employment.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by April 13.
