Introducing The Ohio State University Professional Exploration Program

Are you an underrepresented student interested in a career in a health profession? The road to success can be challenging, but we are here to help you explore different opportunities with The Ohio State University Professional Exploration Program (PXP).

PXP provides an opportunity for underrepresented undergraduates to learn more about career opportunities by rotating, in-person, through Ohio State’s different health sciences colleges during the 2024-2025 academic year. Programming generally will take place on designated Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but times might vary.

Optometry, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Graduate-Level Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, Medicine, and Speech Pathology and Hearing are some of the career options you can explore through PXP.

Applications are due by Saturday, August 31st at 11:59 p.m. All are welcome to apply. Questions about the program may be directed to: OPT-CID@osu.edu.
