The College of Public Health is partnering with The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center to offer undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in a paid summer research experience.
The CREATES program (Cancer Research Experience for the Advancement and Training of Emerging Scientists) highlights the broad landscape of cancer-associated research from a public health-focused perspective.
The streamlined online application is available until Feb. 11.
All undergraduate public health students are encouraged to submit an application if they are intrigued by the role of public health research in defining cancer-associated risk factors, intervention strategies, or healthcare navigation.
No prior research experience is required, and a summer stipend is provided by the OSUCCC. The program runs from May 20 through July 26.
