Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for a Population Health Specialist in the Department of Community Health Services.
Requirements include:
- BS in health education, public health, social work, or related field
- one (1) year experience which indicates a thorough knowledge of population health/health promotion and health education principles
A Master’s Degree is preferred as well as Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®)/Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®).
A candidate with knowledge of population health/community health education practices, and policy, system and environmental change strategies preferred. Experience with authentic community engagement and ability communicating with diverse audiences is also preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency. Some evening and weekend hours required.
