Research assistants needed for Medicaid care access project

Using a novel secret shopper survey of Medicaid managed care plans, this project examines the consumer experiences of navigating provider networks.

Medicaid has 92 million Americans enrolled. There is limited but growing evidence that network-based managed care arrangements may impede access to care for consumers, particularly those who face historical barriers navigating the complex U.S. health system. Using a novel secret shopper survey of Medicaid managed care plans, this project examines the consumer experiences of navigating provider networks.

  • Interest in gaining experience in healthcare access, equity research and health insurance research
