Research spotlight: Bringing new resilient infrastructure to all communities

The College of Engineering highlighted an interdisciplinary collaboration involving CPH Professor Darryl B. Hood. The project will engage 15 underserved central Ohio communities to address specific challenges these neighborhoods face during the transition to renewable energy sources.

The Facilitating Local Electrified Energy and Transportation Services for All (FLEETS for All) project will seek to understand needs and opportunities for electrified energy and mobility options to improve health, environmental and social conditions within these populations.

The interdisciplinary team of Ohio State collaborators includes expertise in air quality, transportation, energy, sociology and public health.
