Students learn to identify and respond to an overdose

Aug. 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. CPH program manager, Colleen Hendon provided a "Carry Narcan. Save a Life" training during this year’s BSPH orientation to approximately 110 continuing and first year, undergraduate students on August 22. 

Narcan kits are supplied through the Ohio Department of Health’s Integrated Naloxone Access and Infrastructure grant, were distributed to each student.
