This Is Public Health Ambassador nominations due May 26

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) is excited to announce  they are accepting nominations for the 2023-24 This Is Public Health Ambassador Program.

Nominations to the Ambassador Program need to be submitted by a faculty or staff member at a member institution. Self-nominations, submitted by the student, will need a faculty or staff referral.

ASPPH is a great opportunity for students to network with their peers around the country who share their passion for public health!

Ambassadors are expected to engage approximately five hours per month in the program, specifically through participation in Virtual Fairs, Slack engagement, social media takeovers, and talking to current undergraduate students. In return, they will:

  • Have the opportunity to post on social media to spread awareness of public health
  • Be provided opportunities to showcase their research/practicum/capstone projects
  • Share information about their program and institution
  • Gain professional development and the ability to network with professionals in the field of Public Health
  • Receive free TIPH swag

We encourage faculty/staff to nominate students who aren’t overly committed to other activities and are interested in staying engaged throughout the year-long cohort. Please coordinate nominations with your colleagues as we will only accept two participants from each ASPPH member institution.
