Hackathon: Tech Solutions to Reduce Sexually Transmitted Infections

Join us for this all-virtual event Sept. 19 – Oct. 30. Entry is open to all, including those in academia, philanthropy, private industry, students and early- to late- career professionals. Winning teams may receive grants, cash prizes, mentorship and/or a publication opportunity.

Hackathon winners will have their winning solutions featured on the event website and/or promoted on the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) and other National Academies social media accounts. First and second place Hackathon winners in each track will have the opportunity to receive support to continue work on their proposed solution. 

The winning team will be eligible for a $12,000 grant. The second and third place teams will be eligible for $6,000 and $2,000 grants respectively. Two $2,000 NAM-sponsored prizes will also be awarded.
