Teaching Public Health Law in a Time of Judicial Activism

When: -

Where: Virtual

This webinar, featuring Micah Berman of Ohio State's colleges of public health and law, provides an overview of U.S. Supreme Court decisions since 2021 that have upended public health law for instructors in the field.

The presenters will offer insights and advice for those faced with teaching to these decisions in the coming year — guiding and educating around the gravity of the situation, finding ways to help students see through what’s going on for themselves, and discussing what the decisions mean for practice.
The webinar is hosted by the Center for Public Health Law Research at Temple University with the American Society of Law, Medicine, and Ethics.
