Dr. Marika Haritos Paul is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Health Services Management and Policy and Director of the OSU Master of Health Administration program. She has taught courses focusing on health care organization, US & international health care, and understanding health care organization data. Her research interests include health policy and addressing disparities in health care.

Prior to joining OSU faculty, Dr. Paul spent over a decade as a researcher and statistician in industry, academia, public health and medicine. Her work includes health economics at Abbott Nutrition, policy evaluation at the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center, epidemiologic surveillance for the US Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, quality improvement initiatives at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and statistical analysis at both Carnegie Mellon’s Department of Institutional Research & Analysis and University of Pittsburgh’s Epidemiology Data Center.

Dr. Paul earned a B.S. in Psychology and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.S. in Behavioral Medicine from the University of Miami, and a Ph.D. in Health Services Management and Policy from The Ohio State University.
