Dr. Marika Haritos Paul is a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Health Services Management and Policy. She has taught courses focusing on health care organization, U.S. and international health care, and understanding health care organization data. Her research interests include health policy and addressing disparities in health care.

Prior to joining Ohio State faculty, Dr. Paul spent more than a decade as a researcher and statistician in industry, academia, public health and medicine. Her work includes health economics at Abbott Nutrition, policy evaluation at the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center, epidemiologic surveillance for the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, quality improvement initiatives at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and statistical analysis at both Carnegie Mellon’s Department of Institutional Research & Analysis and University of Pittsburgh’s Epidemiology Data Center.

Dr. Paul earned a BS in psychology and statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in behavioral medicine from the University of Miami, and a PhD in Health Services Management and Policy from The Ohio State University.
